The Student Affairs Research and Assessment Committee was established in 1997.  The Committee facilitates a variety of research and assessment activities and initiatives within the Division of Student Affairs.  The committee is charged by the Vice Chancellor to:

  • Offer a more in-depth understanding of UIC students through research on UIC students
  • Disseminate findings within Student Affairs and to interested persons in the campus community.
  • Within Student Affairs, summarize research relevant to the operation and effectiveness of student services
  • Provide information and guidance to the division on assessment of programs and services
