The Student Affairs Research and Assessment Committee was established in 1997. The Committee facilitates a variety of research and assessment activities and initiatives within the Division of Student Affairs. The committee is charged by the Vice Chancellor to:

Offer a more in-depth understanding of UIC students through research on UIC students

Disseminate findings within Student Affairs and to interested persons in the campus community.

Within Student Affairs, summarize research relevant to the operation and effectiveness of student services

Provide information and guidance to the division on assessment of programs and services
