Dear Graduate School Recruiter:

Mark the Date!  Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  You are invited to the fifth annual Chicago Graduate and Professional School Fair.  The fair is co-sponsored by 22 schools including the University of Illinois at Chicago, Benedictine University, Chicago State University, Concordia University, DePaul University, Dominican University, Eureka College, Governors State University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Knox College, Lewis University, Loyola University Chicago, National-Louis Unversity, North Central College, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois Univeristy, Northwestern University, Olivet Nazarene University, Roosevelt University, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and the University of Illinois Alumni Career Center.

Why attend such an event?  The fair provides you with an opportunity to meet with students from many different schools and degree programs.  We continue to build this fair and expect student attendance to increase to 1,000 from last year’s 900.  The event will be well publicized with ads and/or posters on each of the sponsoring campuses.  Ads will also appear in the Chicago Reader, the Red Eye, the Onion and other local media outlets.  40,000 U of I alumni living in the Chicago area will receive an e-mail invitation and we will mail posters to other institutions within a 90 mile radius of the city.  Please visit chicagogradfair.ocs.uic.edu for a list of last year’s participants and information about the 2008 fair.

You may register on-line at chicagogradfair.ocs.uic.edu. The registration fee will cover the cost of a table, parking, and a meal for up to 2 recruiters.  We are expecting more than 200 recruiters to attend.

Please register for the fair as soon as possible because space is limited
If you have questions about this event, please contact me at (312) 996-2969 or e-mail me at agarza@uic.edu.  I hope to see you at the Chicago Graduate and Professional School Fair.

Respectfully yours,

Andres Garza
