Student Employment offers the following services to off campus employers:

  • Postings on the Job Boards and on www.uiccareers.com.
  • Student Referrals for positions listed under the Job Location & Development Program.
  • On campus recruiting through Job Fairs and individual company days

Job Listings
Student Employment maintains Off Campus Job Listings as a service to the Chicagoland area. If your business needs to advertise a part-time position, simply go online to www.uiccareers.com, log in and select the Student Employment Office for your job posting needs.  

The new web posting system (www.uiccareers.com) allows employers to create their own username and password to input company profile information and job openings.  Also, employers are able to search the student resume database for prospective candidates to contact for their positions. For more information, please feel free to contact our office at (312)996-3130.

Job Location & Development (JLD) Program
If your position requires any educational background or can assist a student in enhancing his or her career goals, the position will be listed under the Job Location & Development Program. The JLD program is a federally funded program that can assist your company in the recruitment of qualified UIC students. Only qualified students, based on your requirements will be referred to you. The qualified student's resume can be faxed to you or the student will be given a Referral Card to contact you directly. Currently, we offer listings under (but are not limited to!):
