National Student Employment Week was established to increase public awareness of student employees by recognizing students who work while attending college.
This year, it will be held during the second full week of April 12-16, 2010.
For the past seventeen years, in conjunction with the National Student Employment Association, UIC has celebrated National Student Employment Week.

Essay Contest on "Importance of a Part-Time Job"
UIC students can submit a 500 word essay on the "Importance of a Part-time Job" and how their position has affected them. All entries must include a cover sheet. Deadline for submission: April 1, 2010
