National Student Employment Week was established to increase public awareness of student employees by recognizing students who work while attending college.
It will be held during the second full week of April 14-18, 2008.
For the past fifteen years, UIC, in conjunction with the National Student Employment Association, has celebrated National Student Employment Week. Various events will be held throughout the week. Check our website as the time draws nearer.

Essay Contest on "Importance of a Part-Time Job"

UIC students can submitt a 500 word essay on the Importance of a Part-time Job and how their position has effected them. All entries must include a cover sheet.
Deadline for submission is April 3, 2008.
The Winner will receive a $100 monetary prize!
