Ask you supervisor if there is a departmental handbook and/or guidelines. Ask if there is a dress code or any other pertinent information that you should know about. |

Make sure that your supervisor knows first that you will be exceeding 8 hours in a day. If the overtime is approved, you are entitled to overtime. |

Student employees who work over 5 continous hours are entitled to a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch. Talk to your supervisor for specific departmental policies. |
