Goals of the UIC Undergraduate Grant Program
The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is committed to providing access to higher education and minimizing loan debt for undergraduate students with the greatest financial need, while optimizing the positive impact of financial aid on student retention and graduation. UIC has allocated a portion of its operating budget to provide Illinois residents receiving the Federal Pell Grant with supplemental grant aid that will support degree completion.
Who is Eligible for the UIC Undergraduate Grant Program
Students must be enrolled at UIC and must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the deadline each academic year. All FAFSA applicants will be considered for the UIC Undergraduate Grant Program; no other financial aid application is necessary.
