The Transfer and Readmit Student Orientation Program is a one-day session designed to acquaint you with UIC. Orientation is required for transfer students, and although it is optional for readmit students, attendance is highly encouraged.
When you contact the Orientation Program, a reservationist will guide you to the first available date. Please be aware that check-in for transfer and readmit students will begin at 7:45 am at the
Student Services Building (1200 W Harrison Street).

Concluding Orientation
You will complete your course registration by 5:00 pm at UIC Student Center East, located at 750 South Halsted Street. If you need to meet with your parents who attended the parent program, you can do so in the Montgomery Ward Lounge located on the second floor of the UIC Student Center East. Student Orientation Leaders will direct you to this lounge to meet your parents after the conclusion of the program.
