The Take a Professor to Lunch program will be part of the new commuter services office and will be available when that office opens.

Requirements:

All students must be currently enrolled at UIC
-
UIC Faculty only
-
Because of University restrictions on reimbursement, students should NEVER personally pay for the lunch.
How the Process Works:

Students must submit at least one week in advance via e-mail, the following information:
-
List of all attending student's full names, e-mails, & UINs
-
Contact phone number for student who is coordinating the lunch
-
Professor's name, e-mail, & Department
-
Preferred reservation date
-
Preferred reservation time (lunch available between 11 am - 2pm),
-
Location of lunch (SCE Cafe, SCW Centennial Room, or JST Cafe)

Students will receive an e-mail from SLVDS confirming that your request was received and that it is being processed.

Students will receive a second e-mail prior to the scheduled lunch indicating that a pre-paid receipt is ready to be picked up at our office.

Students will pick up pre-paid receipt and further instructions the day before or day of the lunch.

Evaluations will be e-mailed to all TPL participants (students and faculty) and should be completed within one week of the lunch. If students fail to complete the evaluations, students not be able to participate in the program the next semester.

Students may only participate in the program one time per semester.
